Urban Watercolours- Richard Neville

Painting townscapes and making the best of painting en-plein air. Richard Neville works in watercolour and loves sketching outdoors in paint, preferably in the sun! He has been a Club member for many years and exhibits his work.

He will demonstrate his 3 stage painting process. Key themes - simplification, composition, big shapes/ small shapes, focal points, tones not colours and adding final touches.

He will assist each student with their pieces during the day. Break sessions - painting plein air, what good kit looks like, maybe painting figures or painting greens etc.

As part of our new series called the ‘Peer to Peer Sessions’ which enables some of our Club Members, who are Commercial Tutors and Artists, to show their skills, tips and tricks to other members.
