OUR NEXT EXHIBITION IS BEING HELD ON APRIL 10TH -14TH

  • The 2026 Browse and Sell , Member’s Show will be open 10-4pm.

  • Venue; SCIENCE ATRIUM, Clevedon School

    Valley Road, Clevedon, BS21 6AH

  • All the Members’ work is available to buy at reasonable prices and is an amazing example of what happens in North Somerset’s art community.

  • Many of our artists will be on hand to chat to. There will be art demonstrations and talks, plus children’s art activities during the show.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 
Please read these 2026 Conditions of Entry below……

Submissions will only be accepted by completing the on-line submission form….click this link below:

It will open on Saturday 21st FEBRUARY at 9am, and close on Monday 23rd MARCH 2026 at 10pm.

  1. If you have difficulty in making your application, contact us by email at exhibitions.caclub@gmail.com  

  2. Works must be delivered to the exhibition venue on Wednesday 8TH APRIL between 10:30am and 1:00pm. You must have submitted your form by 23rd MARCH and paid the appropriate submission fees.

  3. Every effort will be made to hang/display all submitted work– space allowing

  4. All works must have been made by the artist submitting them. 

  5. There will be three prizes - £100, £50 and £25 – for the most popular pieces, as voted for by visitors.

WE WILL ACCEPT: 

Up to THREE original artworks/framed prints/3D works (minimum £60 selling price, only one of which maybe ‘not for sale’) with an entry fee of £6 each

Up to FOUR 3D works (minimum £10, maximum £50 selling price) with an entry fee of £2 each

Up to THREE mounted originals (unframed) with an entry fee of £3 each

Up to TEN prints (unframed) with an entry fee of £2 each

Up to 25 cards no entry fee – all cards will have a selling price of £3.00

  • ANY size will be accepted on condition that any piece larger than 1m, either width or height, is handed in with its’ own easel.

  • Digital works of art may only be entered if a Standard Certificate of Uniqueness is attached to the work. This Standard Certificate of Uniqueness is a statement by the artist that they are both, as a whole and in parts of the artwork, it's only creator. The artist promises to offer only ONE physical representation of the work for sale, with the clearly visible fingerprint or signature in paint or ink at the front. 

  • All pictures must be ready to hang, in strong frames with secure ‘D’ RINGS to which picture cord (not wire) is securely attached.  The cord must not reach above the picture frame. Clip frames are not accepted but Perspex/plastic is.

  • Unframed oils or acrylics on canvas will be accepted if prepared and ready to hang as above. 

  • Labelling: Works must be clearly marked on the back with Title, Medium, Artist’s Name and Sale Price or NFS. This should match exactly the submission form.

  • A white luggage type label must be firmly attached with string to hang approximately 6 inches over the front of the picture, showing the Title, Medium, Artists Name and price. A similar label should also be attached to 3D work.

WE WILL NOT ACCEPT: 

  • Artworks hung with wire, or cords attached other than by D-Rings, or insecure frames. 

  • Works previously hung in one of the Club’s Exhibitions.

  • Work by deceased artists.  

MEMBERS SHOULD CHECK THAT THEIR WORKS DO NOT INFRINGE COPYRIGHT. THE CLUB TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CONSEQUENCES FROM ANY SUCH INFRINGEMENT.

Sales: 
A Commission of 15% will be taken.

The club treasurer will make contact within 3 weeks of the show closing. We will then make every effort to make payment within 3 weeks after receiving your bank details.

 
Collection:

Unsold works MUST be collected on: WEDNESDAY 15th APRIL between 11:00am and 1:00pm.  A handling charge of £10 per item will be levied by the Club on artworks not collected on time.

NOTES 

Clevedon Art Club may, without any breach of copyright, take photographs or other images of any item selected and exhibited at the exhibition and use the same for its own records, for advertising the Club’s activities and for use on the Club’s website. 
 
Completion of the on-line submission form permits Clevedon Art Club to hold the personal details submitted by the artist to be held on file by the Club and used for the Club’s activities as stated in the Club’s Rules and Constitution. Clevedon Art Club will not share this information with any other party. 


Clevedon Art Club does not insure the artworks before, during or after the exhibition and disclaims all liability for loss or damage to the artworks, however and by whom caused; for this reason, all artists should make their own loss or damage to works Insurance. 
 
Completion of the on-line submission form means that the artist expressly accepts all the conditions and rules set out herein and agrees to be bound by them.
