In this workshop, we will be exploring ways in which we can create a vivid and convincing sense of depth and volume in our drawings.
Using the built environment as a theme, we will work on ideas and techniques which will be applicable in any kind of observational drawing.
The day will be divided into three sessions:
In the morning, we will be drawing from still-life arrangements with an architectural theme, using chalk and charcoal on toned paper. Jack will elaborate on architectural details.
In the afternoon, we will draw buildings from photographs, using chalk on black paper.
The room opens at 9.30am. Session starts at 10:00am.
