Inks on different materials- with Margaret Micklewright

In the Studio with Margaret Micklewright. This half day is for those curious about inks. A beginners foundation class.

Part 3: More detailed drawings, making the ink work for you.

Ink behaves differently on different materials.

We will explore some of these, ranging from brown paper, through to fabrics using pattern and drawing techniques from previous sessions.

If anyone wants to paint on silk, please bring a stretched piece about A4 sizes stretched onto an old picture frame( its very good on silk, no need to fix or apply many layers)or a canvas to see what happens with that. I will bring different papers and mounting spray.

Materials as above plus stretched silk or a canvas if wanted.

Ink and non-latex gloves supplied.
