“Be bolder with your Pastels"
This full day masterclass will concentrate on encouraging a bolder approach to pastel painting. We will discover how being more daring with our mark making, colour choices and compositions will help us to push our pastel painting beyond the purely representational approach to the pastel medium.

Bring your own lunch and a drink
Materials to bring along…
30-40 half stick selection of soft pastels, such as Sennelier, Unison or Rembrandt
Sanded pastel card: Sennelier La Carte, Canson touch, Uart or Pastelmat (either single sheets or pad form but preferably not smaller than 24cm x 32cm)
Drawing board and bull dog clips
Fixative
Wet wipes/ rag
Masking tape (25cm)
Stiff haired paint brush
Kitchen roll
Sketchbook and soft pencil or marker pen
