Come and learn the art of image transfer on the gelliplate using a range of materials and techniques, including photos*, magazine images or text and drawn images using different media, including charcoal.

**** If you want to try photo transfer please bring black and white photos ( use editing tools to remove grey tones)  printed on business paper or digital silk paper on a laser printer on a  colour setting (approx 5” by 7” in size).***

Create stencils to enhance or build on top of the image transfer inspired by artist Rex Ray or your own ideas.

The image transfer process can be fickle, but Julia will be sharing the best tips at hand to achieve more consistent results.

Materials

Julia will supply all paints, gelli plates and equipment and refreshments.

Please wear warm, old clothes that you don't mind getting paint on!
