My workshop would be about my current methodology: landscapes, working in acrylics on MDF board, from my own site photos and plein air sketches, and small abstracted drawings. I do quite detailed 'underpaintings' in pastels, to establish accuracy, tonal values etc.
- I am drawn to simple agricultural landscapes, with modern industrial elements. I abstract as much as I can. but never as much as I want!
- I will bring in some of my paintings, with some books on artists who have inspired me (Van Gogh, Kyffin Williams, Sandra Blow, Bay Area Artists, Hockney, Fred Ingrams).
