Clevedon Art Club exists to promote interest and participation in the visual arts, in, and around the Clevedon area. The Club is a diverse community of artists working across a range of media. We share and develop our own artistic skills through the staging of Exhibitions; we support artists through a varied programme of activities and events; and we seek to promote and inspire interest in the arts by fostering links with schools and other groups in our local community. Members work can be seen on our Members Galleries page.

We have regular Programme of meetings throughout the year, usually on the second Tuesday of the month (except August) from 7.30pm to 9.30pm  held in the 6th Form Centre of Clevedon School, Valley Road, Clevedon. BS21 6AH. The building can be found by driving round to the back of the main block, passing the Science Atrium and Sports Centre on your right. You will find the 6th Form Centre is the last building on your right with a good size carpark. We have illustrated talks on famous painters, art history, demonstrations of oil painting, watercolours and acrylics, stage design, art education and presentations by professional artists of their own work.

We run two major exhibitions in Clevedon every year - an "Open", where anyone can submit their work for selection, and a "Members", which is limited to members of the Club. In addition to our regular monthly meetings, we hold workshops, painting days and painting evenings for members.

Anyone who is interested in joining us is welcome to come to one of our monthly meetings for an entrance fee of £3.00. Why miss out on a great opportunity to develop your creative skills? Membership only costs £25 p.a. At little more than £2 a month, membership gives you the opportunity to join a thriving artist community who meet together regularly to share their arty interests.
