Loosening Up Your Pastel Flower Paintings
A one day workshop looking at fun and playful techniques to create dynamic and exciting flower paintings. Using soft pastels and Gouache [ watercolour or acrylic inks can also be used ] in bold and sometimes unexpected ways we will aim to make loose and expressive floral paintings.
Whether flowers in the garden, in the wild or simply in a vase we will look to approach this ever popular subject with a fresh eye and a sense of fun. This workshop is suitable for all abilities and will encourage an adventurous approach to the subject matter whilst still resolving to culminate in a successful painting.
‘My workshop will encourage students to step out of their comfort zone for the day and to embrace their pastel wild side! ‘
