Radiant Colour....with Mina Malpass

Mina will be showing how to plan your painting, so that you have time to add layers to create a beautiful landmark with radiant sunset colours. Her kaleidoscopic effect won our People’s award at the Open 2025; her iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge painting being voted the best in show by our visitors.

Mina will guide you though the basics and help though out the day. ‘Bring your acrylics and be prepared to be dazzeled!’

As part of our new series called the ‘Peer to Peer Sessions’ which enables some of our Club Members to show their skills, tips and tricks to other members.

The room opens at 9.30am. Session starts at 10:00am.

Suggested Materials:

Acrylic paints etc

24mm Green frog tape/ low tack masking tape- and I get through a lot, so people need to bring enough for the day’s work.

Acrylic Matt Medium ( Mina will bring some with her if you don’t have any, but if people have their own that would be good.)

* A few acrylic pens- Posca etc if people have them, for fine detail.

Pencil

Flat Brushes- small and medium

Water pots, rag etc

A3 paper for sketches

Board A3; primed and ready to paint

Silhouettes: Please bring any drawings, photos, that you may wish to paint from.
