In this studio based workshop, Paul will focus on techniques for simplifying buildings, both in town and rural settings. (Working from your own photos)

During the day he will show you how to add figures to suggest scale and movement Paul will also play with ideas for creating mood and atmosphere: Letting the water do the hard work!

Paul is a keen En Plein Ar Artist who loves painting on location. He can advise you on how to easilly work on an easel when out and about. He is an elected member of the Pure Watercolour Society and a regular contributor to ‘The Artist’ magazine.

This course will be suitable for all abilities.

The room opens at 9.30am. Session starts at 10:00am.

Watercolour kit TBA+ Watercolour Paper TBA+ backboard and tape

An easel is preferable, either a table top or floor standing one.

(The club has 4x if needed, please message separately)
