Walk and draw; storyboarding

So, the Walk & Draw Session is all about learning different techniques for recording and journaling your walk. By the end of the session you end up with around eight different images, that not only show different ways of approaching drawing outside but also show different stages of your journey.

During the morning you will visit the gorgeous Poet’s Walk landscape in Clevedon. Car sharing will be necessary (around 12.45 the group will leave the area and head over to Clevedon School.

After lunch, back at the school he will expand on this further, looking at artists who create narratives with multiple images: From comic book artists to more traditional artists that create triptychs. From there he will get the class to create a series of images that tell a narrative. It may be just two images or many, connected by either a story, a technique, a colour. Something that takes the viewer on a bit of a journey. This could be something expanded on from the morning walk or a new set of images.
