Rachel is an acrylic pouring fluid artist, who has far too much fun playing with colours, fluidity  and forms to create this exciting and often unpredictable form of art.

She uses layers of poured paints of varying densities which are manipulated by tipping, blowing, spinning and swiping to create organic and abstract shapes. 

While she does use traditional canvases, she also likes to experiment with pouring onto different surfaces, including tiles, glass and  records.

Every canvas is an opportunity to tell a story: a fiction, a biography, a fantasy. Every piece builds, layer over layer, fat over lean, until the story is told.
I paint from real world inspiration. The places, the people, the real narrative of place rather than the curated tour.

I’m drawn to the landscape, especially the urban setting and how we humans interact with one another and place.
I paint in oils, turning up the amps on chroma to journal the world around me in heightened colour.
