Nicholas Walsh

I am an impressionist landscape painter. I am classically trained in oils. I was artist in residence for the National Trust, and in 2012 was commissioned to produce a painting to commemorate Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee.


My colour palette is vibrant and I work mainly on medium to large canvases. I love nature and capturing the relationship between light and shade and how it forms a composition.
