An exploratory session experimenting with abstracted compositions through mark making exercises. We will be using drawing to simplify elements found in the natural world and the landscape to discover a playful creative and intuitive approach to composition.
Using trace monotype and collage to encourage inventive mark making, we will examine how the arrangement of compositional elementscan be explored. The afternoon session will give an opportunity to develop the most pleasing composition into a more fully realised work.
