Semi-Abstract Landscape Painter
Tina works from her garden studio in Weston and uses her own photo’s as a starting point. She generally begins with an acrylic base on a textured canvas and adds to that various mixtures of inks, graphite, oil pastels, water soluble pencils and dry pigments, in fact anything that works at the time.
Originally from Essex she studied both art and ceramics, running her own small studio pottery business and teaching art in adult education there before moving to the West Country over 30 years ago.
Before retiring she taught art at the Bristol Folk House for 15 years and was then manager there for 10 years.
Since retirement she has concentrated on painting and exhibiting.
Tina has been involved in many exhibitions both in Essex, Bristol and the North Somerset area.
