This presentation is based on my new book and DVD, which is launched in the Autumn 2014. It concentrates on my travels further afield in the UK as well as abroad in search of new landscapes. We look at many of the places that have inspired me over the past two decades - from the West Coast of Ireland to Venice.
Although part travelogue, the art instruction discusses my methods, techniques and tips for sketching and painting en plein air. I also look at a few artists who have also been attracted to these places. An excerpt from the new DVD ‘Travelling Light’, filmed on location in Cornwall is also included.
