Exhibition- Peter Barnfield, A Railway Retrospective

Ginny and Ian Barnfield and I would like to invite you to the launch of the exhibition of Peter Barnfield's artwork at the Gauge Museum, Bishops Lydeard railway station on Saturday 13 July at 2.00pm.   

Over 60 original artworks will be on display, with a number for sale, as well as models, books and greetings cards.  You are welcome to bring your partner.  The exhibition is hosted by the West Somerset Steam Railway Trust.  Peter's books will be on sale in the station shop, which also includes a popular cafe.  Light refreshments will be provided in the museum.  Further details of the exhibition, which will run until 28 July, are attached.

 The best way to reach the museum is by steam train from Minehead (dep 12.30) or Williton (dep 13.17).  Bus number 28 from Taunton drops you at the station entrance and runs every half hour leaving Taunton bus station at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour, and Taunton railway station 12 minutes later.  For those arriving by car the postcode is TA4 3RU.  Follow the brown signs via the A358.
