THE SILVER RING OF SOUTH INDIA
A Sketchbook Journey with Maxine Relton
17 days: 6 - 22 February 2018
In contrast to North India’s Golden Triangle, the Silver Ring of South India will take you through the authentic heartland of Undiscovered India, to the warm-hearted welcome of rural villages away from the beaten tourist trail.
This unusual journey offers a unique combination of encounters and experiences:
- · the chance to make a significant difference to the villagers you visit (through the donation incorporated in the tour cost)
- · a real insight into the timeless culture of South India by engaging with local people
- · the chance to create a gorgeous personal journal of your travels as you learn or develop the art of simple sketching, even as a complete beginner.
If this inspiring prospect appeals to you, then this adventure is for you! I’ve been leading this small-group trip annually for nearly 10 years and am happy to welcome non-sketchers too, as I know how captivating and memorable our trip will be for everyone.
Please do read for a flavour of the trip and feel free to contact me directly if you'd like to hear more. My tour managers will be glad to send you a detailed itinerary: http://artsafari.co.uk/art-safari-diary/india-2018/
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes Maxine
