A new venture for the club, the sessions were split into morning and afternoon each lasting about two and a half hours. The morning session was with a male model while Mary was our model for the afternoon.
Both sessions were well attended with about 10 members each. I attended the afternoon class and Mary started with a series of quick five and ten minute poses before the break. Afterwards they increased to longer poses between ten and twenty minutes.
Most people seem to be using charcoal on paper but watercolour pens and graphite sticks were also in evidence.
We concluded that the standard of work was very high and everybody said that they enjoyed the event. Thanks to Mary who was a very good model and I hope we will continue to have more life model sessions in the future.
