Print Making Workshops 2016 with Gail Mason

Gail Mason will be running classes and one-day workshops at her studio in rural Claverham from July onwards with small groups of up to 6 people

Gail has been a lecturer for the last 13 years, being responsible for teaching at Degree level all disciplines of original printmaking, including screenprint, etching, collagraph, drypoint, linocut and monotypes.

She completed a Masters in Multi-disciplinary Printmaking at UWE in 2004, and is now based at Spike Print Studio in Bristol.

A regular exhibitor at the RWA Open exhibitions, she has been a member of the Bath Society of Artists for the last 4 years, and part of the selection panel for their annual Open Exhibition at the Victoria Gallery. She is also a member of iD Artists a group of interdisciplinary artists who exhibit in the Bristol area.

Gail has been awarded the Print Prize at the Bath Society of Artists, the Curwen Studio prize at ‘Originals’, the National Print Exhibition at the Mall Gallery in London and ‘Emerging Artist Of The Year’ at the Royal West Of England Academy in Bristol.

She teaches Master Classes in silkscreen monotype at Spike Print Studio in Bristol, runs workshops for schools and art groups, and creates work for the Corporate World, Hospitals, Galleries and Exhibitions in London and the South West.
