Members gathered at our July club meeting, paintings tucked under their arms for an evening of critique by Ros Cuthbert RWA.
She started off with an overview of last years Exhibition selection process and how surprising it was that with such different styles and backgrounds, there was very little disagreement between Selectors.
Then the critique began - a diverse range of art in a variety of states of completeness. It is so true that when we artists gather together, we learn so much from each other's work.
Ros's comments were both useful and interesting to all. In particular she stressed the importance of how we present and frame our work. All in all a very enjoyable and useful evening.
Thanks Ros for your constructive and very helpful feedback.
