Clevedon Art Club organises two major exhibitions each year.

The annual Open Exhibition is held over 15 days in late August/early September when both members and non-members may each submit four works.  These are presented before a selection committee of 3 artists of standing, including at least one Royal West of England Academician.  Traditionally, about 250 works (paintings and drawings, etchings, screen prints, lithographs, collages, enamels, ceramics and sculptures) are hung, though, in 2006, 300 works were selected from a record entry of around 530. The Clevedon Art Club Open Exhibition has a long history of success and enjoys a high reputation in the southwest area.  Our 52nd Open Exhibition will be held from 16th to 30th August 2008.  Entry Forms will be available nearer the time.  If you would like to submit works, please go to the Contact page and send us your details and a request for a submission form.

A Members’ Exhibition is also held each year when the Club Members may display their work.  Recently, it has been held in November and combined with a Christmas Sale of cards, prints etc.  All submissions are displayed which amounts to about 140 framed works and sculptures and 70-80 unframed paintings.  This year’s Exhibition will be from 31st October to 2nd November 2008
